Hello

An intentional approach to connection

Hi, I’m Matt! I’m a lifelong learner, an entrepreneur, and a creative.

I’m passionate about personal growth, travel, spirituality, success, business, creating value, helping others, and living a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Why did I make this site?

I’m someone who enjoys depth. I can’t stand looking at dating profiles that don’t even have a bio. Even the ones that do have a bio barely scratch the surface of who someone is and what they’re looking for.

I want to use the power of the internet and the beauty of the law of attraction to share who I am and put that out there in hopes of connecting with somebody special who shares similar values and wants to build a life together.

I also like to think creatively and outside of the box, and I would like to create something that has more depth and is more impactful. I think dating apps, and even just going out and about trying to meet someone, can take up a tremendous amount of time. Maybe I had that time when I was younger in my early 20s, but I’m in a different chapter in life where I’m focused on other things, like taking care of myself, building my business and my team, learning and researching, and taking care of my family (a close family member got sick about a year ago, and I’ve been taking care of a lot of logistics).

I’m also unorthodox and I approach things differently. I try to think about the most impactful and meaningful ways to do something. I would love to connect with an amazing and powerful woman, and date with intention.

More about me:

I’m a location-independent entrepreneur (I started my business 15 years ago), so while I can technically work from anywhere, I prefer slower travel and states of focus and depth.

While I am driven, focused, and intense, I’m also soft and gentle and have a big heart. I have a lot of empathy and I live very intuitively, and follow my heart and gut. I enjoy relaxing music and Kirtan, laying in the sun, swimming in the ocean, being in nature, and exploring.

I enjoy drinking a nice cup of coffee in the morning and digging into creative and meaningful work. I like learning, exploring new places, and making a difference in people’s lives.

I enjoy connecting with…

I enjoy connecting with like-minded and like-hearted people. I love open communication; vulnerable, raw, and authentic communication. I like people who trust their intuition and are bravely following their path.

I like women who have powerful energy, have healing/mystic qualities, and value staying active and healthy. I like a woman who is deep and serious, yet is also super fun, adventurous, brave, and free-spirited.

What I’m looking for

I’m looking for a magical woman. A powerful woman. A beautiful woman, inside and out. Strong, intelligent, warm, caring, and lots of empathy.

Intelligent, wise, and spiritual. Ambitious, curious about herself and the world. Someone who seeks depth and truth and has the courage to be raw and vulnerable. Someone fun and adventurous. Healthy, fit, and athletic. Someone who takes care of their mind, body, and spirit. Someone who is gentle and feminine, yet also strong and courageous.

I like…

Eating healthy:

While I’ve experimented with many ways of eating (raw vegan, paleo, keto, IIFYM, etc.), I now eat mostly organic and healthy. I do eat meat and fish, and pretty much everything. But I focus on high quality ingredients. I’ve also spent years tracking calories and macros in order to manipulate my physique, so I find that world fascinating. And you’ll likely find me weighing food on the scale from time to time 😉

Exercise:

I regularly lift weights 💪 and also like to run 🏃‍♂️. I also love the ocean 🌊 and swimming.

Travel

I did a lot of traveling throughout my 20s and early 30s, focusing mostly on Latin America and Spanish-speaking countries (I love learning Spanish).

My first trip was to Barbados. Then to the UK and Spain in 2007. And then for my latin focus, I spent time in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua (my first solo international trip), Puerto Rico, and Spain (I lived there for a summer). I also lived in Tel Aviv for a summer, and spent 6 months living in Quebec.

I recently drove an RV around the US a few summers ago. I covered ~11,000 miles and a handful of new states. I basically did a massive circle around the US. Here’s the map. I had a really nice time in Montana, Wyoming, and Utah. It was a mix of friends, family, and business.

I grew up in Pennsylvania, and then went to college (and sold real estate) in Philadelphia. Then I moved to Miami in 2010 and started a new business. I’ve also lived in the South Coast of Massachusetts, Austin, Texas, and I think 5-6 different cities/towns in Florida.

Here’s some fun travel pics from the past ~15 years 🕺🏄‍♂️🧡:

Career & Creativity

I made the decision (or rather, I followed a calling) to become an entrepreneur when I was 19 years old. That led me to a career in real estate, where I sold investment real estate in Philadelphia (while I was in college).

I then learned about a thing called “location independence” (that was the buzzword back then) and realized I’d be stuck in the city forever if I sold real estate. And I wanted to travel and explore more.

I started to get a bunch of signs from the universe, and from within. And I eventually sold or gave away all my things, quit a successful career, and started fresh with nothing but an idea and a hell of a lot of inspiration. And I stayed on that path and I did whatever it took. I now have a business, team, and company culture I’m tremendously proud of, and it continues to grow and evolve.

My company, LLC University, teaches people how to form LLCs (for free) in all 50 states. We maintain over 1,000 legal lessons and publish guides for over 1.5 million readers per year. LLC University is organized as a Benefit Company, meaning, we aren’t driven by profit, but rather by our mission to empower entrepreneurs with free education.

I’ve developed a vast body of skills (from software architecture to content strategies to company culture; and everything in between), and I find the work deeply meaningful and impactful (helping business owners all throughout the country navigate what can be a confusing and complicated process). It’s been incredibly rewarding building and growing a team, and creating values that actually mean something (ex: one of our values is “we give a fuck”, and the team truly embodies this). If you want to learn more about the company culture we built, take a peek at this recent job description.
